Tucked away on a quiet street in Mexico City's Roma Norte neighborhood, Compay is a welcome respite from the hustle and noise of this 22 million person global center. Chocolate pastries and expert coffees highlight the menu. Tropical vegetation lines, the streets, and you can feel your blood pressure going down as you sip and chat with new friends. Recommended without reservation.

This place is the best for a morning sun bath and honestly the best chai I’ve had en mi vida (its made en la casa). The baristas are the kind of folk you’d want to be greeted by on a 8am Tuesday, or really any day of the week. Will def be coming back!!

My wife and I spent a few days in CDMX this summer, and this was far and away our favorite coffee experience in the city. It's a quaint shop in a quiet part of the neighborhood, and it feels very cozy as you step down into the main seating area. The barista was a Venezuelan and Mexican fella by way of Wyoming, believe it or not, and he was an exceptionally kind and charming young man who pulled one the best espresso shots I've ever had. All regional beans from a local roastery. Delicious. We will definitely return next time we're in town.

If you want a good cup of specialty coffee this is the spot. I had a V60 and iced Americano, both were great. The young guy was kind and knowledgeable. There many diff spots around the city but this is a true hidden Gem.

Wonderful experience at this tiny coffee shop at 8am on a Wednesday. Owner is incredibly sweet and our dirty chai latte was the BEST we’ve had in any country. (Chai made in house!) We will be back!

The coziest little nook of a cafe with delicious coffee and friendliest of vibes. Ian is the owner and will happily chat you up about…well, anything. You can tell he’s extremely passionate about his craft(s) and makes the experience at his cafe that much more enjoyable. Would highly recommend if you’re ever in the area!

Easily the best coffee I had in Mexico City! I was in the city for three weeks and found myself always coming back to this small shop after trying other cafes. The barista is friendly, attentive, and consistently makes delicious coffee.
